Home Needed for Older Male Shiba Inu (5/21/08)- Permanent Home Found

“ELVIS” Has found his permanent home. This older black and tan male Shiba was pulled from the Sacramento SPCA, spent a short amount of time in a foster home in Sacramento, and is now living in his permanent home in Reno, Nevada with the Northern Nevada Shiba Rescue folks. (Thanks Jack!). Those of us who worked on his rescue are delighted. According to Jack, Elvis is a real "sweetheart". He has medical problems ( bad knees, failing eyesight), but is having a great life with Jack's four other Shibas. He has some cute habits, like pawing at the refrigerator when he wants food, and is intently focused on "his" toys. We're glad about the happy ending for this little fellow!
